Sex and the City

We don't have HBO, so I missed out on Sex and the City when everyone was talking about it. But thanks to Blockbuster, I am a new devotee. Who knew!!! I just finished watching the second season and I cannot wait to get to the store for the next season.

Which of the characters do you relate to the most?

Hmmm, I think I'd get nothing but trouble for answering that one, LOL. The show is pretty good, I will agree! Isn't technology so handy for catching up on things that you might otherwise miss out on?

Enjoy!

OK, ok, Mr Big?  LOL

Oh, I love that show, and here's the thing: I'm 56, and my two best friends in Dallas are 40 (as of last Sunday) and 27, and when the three of us get together for dinner and drinks (which we do, faithfully, once a month) we always feel like we're the group in Sex and the City.  Although as the oldest I should relate to Samantha, in fact I'm most like Charlotte, right down to her marriage.  However, a couple of years ago a young friend, who'd had a little too much to drink, agreed that the three were similar to the Sex and the City cast and insisted I was Samantha.  I said, OK, in terms of being the oldest, yes, but not in any other way.  My young friend insisted I was like Samantha in almost every way.  I said, OK, this is beginning to be insulting, since Samantha boffs everything that moves, and I certainly don't do that!  "But you know sex like Samantha knows sex," my young friend said petulantly.  What can I say?  I didn't deny it.

I only watched that show once and I laughed so hard my teeth almost fell out!

I wish I knew the various characters' names.... in the episode I watched some older chick not too far in age from myself was screwing the brains out of some young waiter. They showed them doing it in every imaginable position and my hubby and I just roared till we slid on the floor in exhaustion.

I'm glad you let me know that I can get this at Blockbusters. When all else fails, laughter is the best medicine and I could care less what it is that get's me going!
